I believe very strongly in helping my separating clients to achieve what they need without going to court. I use a common sense approach to resolving conflict, I offer a sliding scale and accept legal aid, I am culturally sensitive and I provide a peaceful, supportive, atmosphere for my clients. LGBT clients are welcome. Having grown up in the Peel region, I also maintain strong links to the community. I regularly travel to the Peel region to meet with clients. Best wishes.
I am excited and enthusiastic about the Collaborative process, and I love my Collaborative Practice. I have practiced Family Law for over 20 years, and Collaborative Practice successfully since 2000. As a Founding Member, Director, and Chair of the Toronto Collaborative Practice Group, a Trainer, and a long-standing Member of the PeeI/Halton Group, I welcome the opportunity to help you resolve your disputes in family and estate matters respectfully. I am effective, efficient, and sincere. If you share the same principles and integrity as I do, please feel free to contact me.
As a litigator at all levels of Ontario courts, I witnessed the negative effects of the adversarial system on families. Parents were pitted against each other, with the children often expected to take sides. A collaborative approach is constructive, and considers the needs of everyone in the family unit. I can help you achieve your personal objectives and also build a working relationship with your spouse to help you both co-parent your children in the future.
